3.1 July 2, 1967 New York

 Dear Grammy and Grandpa, (Barb's folks from Amy) I had a very nice time on the jet. The stewardesses were nice, and they all said good-bye when we left. Good-bye. Love, Amy Dear Grammy and Grandpa,     How are things your way? Over here its' foggy. I think it's going to rain but so far all we've had is three drops.     I'll tell you about our trip over. We left the airport at Boise at 8:30 am and flew to Salt Lake City. Rivers looked like twisted Christmas tree Icicles, lakes looked like tin foil, and canyons like brown lines. Mountains looked like they do in a bumpy map. At Salt Lake City we changed jets. Flight 106 was an older jet but they told us what we were flying over. The Denver airport was stupendous. The ramp ways came out to meet the plane and never touched the ground. From there we boarded Flight 352. It was a newer model jet.
